PENGARUH PENGGUNAAN METODE RESITASI TERHADAP HASIL BELAJAR EKONOMI PADA MATERI POKOK BANK DI KELAS X IPS SMA NEGERI 1 PADANG BOLAK

Abstract

ABSTRACT

 

   This study aims to know whether there is a significant influence of using recitation method on students’ economic achievement on the topic of bank at the tenth grade students of IPS major of SMA Negeri 1 Padang Bolak. The research was conducted by applying experimental method (one group pretest post test design) with 36 students as the sample and they were taken by using random sampling technique from 144 students. Observation and test were used in collecting the data. Based on descriptive analysis, it could be found (a) the average of using recitation method was 2.85 (good category) and (b) the average of students’ economic achievement on the topic of bank before using recitation method was 70.28 (good category) and after using recitation method was 77.50 (good category). Furthermore, based on inferential statistic by using pair sample ttest and help SPSS Version 17, it could be found significant value was less than 0.05 (0.000<0.05), it means there is a significant influence of using recitation method on students’ economic achievement on the topic of bank at the tenth grade students of IPS major of SMA Negeri 1 Padang Bolak.
