PENINGKATAN AKTIVITAS DAN HASIL BELAJAR IPS MELALUI PENERAPAN MODELLING THE WAY PADA SISWA KELAS IV SD INPRES SENAYU
Abstract
This study aims to examine the extent of the increase in activity and learning outcomes IPS SD InpresSenayu, through Application of Modelling The Way. This research is a classroom action research with qualitative approach. The research was conducted in the fourth grade students of InpresSenayu. Instrument used to collect data in the form of pieces of observation, documentation and achievement test. The data obtained in the study were analyzed using qualitative and quantitative data analysis. This study was conducted in two cycles and each cycle consisting of one meeting.
Based on the results of action taken by two cycles of use Modelling The Way namely: (1). Action on the first cycle obtained at 70.59, it has met the KKM. Completeness of classical study also meets the criteria of success (75%) that is equal to 79.41%. Description of the data on the results of the implementation cycle I shows the implementation of learning have not been entirely satisfactory. Data analysis of the implementation of the action on the second cycle, the learning can be said to be successful, because all aspects studied which includes the performance of teachers, activities, and student learning outcomes have met the indicators of success. Improvements in all aspects has occurred from the first cycle to the second cycle. The results of observations in the form of observation of student activities also qualify high activity and the acquisition value in learning teacher performance has exceeded 71. The value of learning outcomes in the form of a class average value has exceeded the minimum standards set as KKM is 66, with a more classical learning completeness of 75%. Thus it can be concluded that the application Modelling The Way can increase the activity and results for students at SD InpresSenayu.
