PENGARUH PENGGUNAAN MODEL PEMBELAJARAN PROBLEM SOLVING TERHADAP HASIL BELAJAR EKONOMI SISWA MATERI PENDAPATAN NASIONAL DI KELAS XI MIS SMA NEGERI 1 PADANG BOLAK

This study aims to know whether there is a significant influence of using problem solving learning model on students’ economic achievement on the National Income material at the eleventh grade students MIS SMA Negeri 1 Padang Bolak. The research was conducted by applying experimental method (one group pretest post test group design) with 32 students as the sample and they were taken by using random sampling technique from 105 students. Test and observation were used in collecting the data. Descriptive and inferential analyzes are used to analyzed the data. Based on the data analysis, it was found: (a) the average of using problem solving learning model was 2.83 (good category) and (b) the average of students’ economic achievement on the National Income material before using problem solving learning model was 31.25 (poor category) and after using problem solving learning model was 56.25 (fair category). Furthermore, based on inferential statistics by using paired sample ttest , the result showed the significant value was less than 0.05 (0.000<0.05). It means, there is a significant influence of using problem solving learning model on students’ economic achievement on the National Income material at the eleventh grade students MIS SMA Negeri 1 Padang Bolak.
