PENGARUH PENERAPAN STRATEGI PEMBELAJARAN INKUIRI TERHADAP HASIL BELAJAR EKONOMI SISWA PADA MATERI POKOK MASALAH EKONOMI DI KELAS X SMA NEGERI 1 PADANG BOLAK JULU
Abstract
ABSTRACT
This study aims to describe (a) applying of inquiry learning strategy, (b) students’ economic problem achievement before and after applying inquiry learning strategy, and (c) know whether there is a significant influence of applying inquiry learning strategy on students’ economic achievement on the topic economic problem. The research was conducted at the tenth grade students of SMA Negeri 1Padang Bolak Julu by using quasi experimental method (pretest post test one group design) with 20 students as the sample and they were taken by using random sampling technique from 159 students. Test and observation were used in collecting the data. Based on descriptive analysis, it could be found (a) the average of applying inquiry learning strategy was 3.59 (very good category) and b) the average of students’ economic problem before applying inquiry learning strategy was 70.25 (good category) and after applying inquiry learning strategy was 80 (very good category). Furthermore, based on inferential statistic by using paired sample ttest and helping SPSS version 16, the result showed the significant value was less than 0.05 (0.000<0.05). It means, there is a significant influence of applying inquiry learning strategy on students’ economic achievement on the the topic economic problem.
