PENGARUH MODEL PEMBELAJARAN TWO STAY TWO STRAY TERHADAP HASIL BELAJAREKONOMI MATERI PERTUMBUHAN EKONOMI SISWA KELAS XI IPS SMA NEGERI 1 ANGKOLA BARAT

Abstract
This study aims to describe applying Two Stay Two Stray (TSTS) learning model, students’ economic development achievement before and after applying TSTS learning model, and there is significant influence of applying TSTS learning model on students’ economic achievement on the topic economic development at the eleventh grade students of IPS major SMA Negeri 1 Angkola Barat. The research was conducted by applying experimental (pretest post test one group design) method with 32 students as the sample and they were taken by using random sampling technique from 64 students. Test and observation were used in collecting the data. Based on descriptive analysis, it could be found (a) the average of applying TSTS learning model was 2.85 (good category) and (2) the average of students’ economic development before applying TSTS learning model was 69.33( enough category) and after applying TSTS learning model was 80.50 (good category). Furthermore by using inferential statistic ttest one tail, the result showed ttable was less than tcalculated (1.70<6.42). It means, and there is significant influence of applying TSTS learning model on students’ economic achievement on the topic economic development at the eleventh grade students of IPS major SMA Negeri 1 Angkola Barat.
