Abstract

ABSTRACT

This study aims to know whether there is a significant influence of parents' education level on students’ learning motivation at the tenth grade students of SMA Negeri 1 Angkola Barat. The research was conducted by using descriptive quantitative method with 67 students as the sample and they were taken by using proportional sampling technique. Documentation and questionnaire were used in collecting the data. Based on descriptive analysis, it could be found (a) the parents’ education level was 4.22 and the average of students’ learning motivation was 77.61 (good category). Furthermore, based on inferential statistic by using tpartial , the result showed the significant value was less than 0.05 (0.000<0.05). It means, there is a significant influence of parents' education level on students’ learning motivation at the tenth grade students of SMA Negeri 1 Angkola Barat.
