PENGARUH PENGGUNAAN MODEL PEMBELAJARAN MODELLING THE WAY (MEMBUAT CONTOH PRAKTEK) TERHADAP HASIL BELAJAR EKONOMI SISWA PADA MATERI PERILAKU KONSUMEN DI KELAS X MAN 1 SIPIROK

ABSTRACT
This study aims to know whether there is a significant influence of using modelling the way learning model on students’ economic achievement on the topic consumer behavior at the tenth grade students of MAN 1 Spirok. The research was conducted by applying experimental method (one group pretest posttest design) with 35 students as the sample and they were taken by using random sampling technique from 71 students. Observation and test were used in collecting the data. Based on the data analysis, it was found that: (1) the average of using modelling the way learning model was 3.7 (very good category) and (2) the average of students’ economic achievement on the topic consumer behavior before using modelling the way learning model was 34.43 (poor category) and using modelling the way learning model was 79.34 (god category). Furthermore, based on inferential statistic by using paired sample ttest, the result showed tcalculated was 23.536 and the significant value was less than 0.05 (0.000<0.05). It means, there is a significant influence of using modelling the way learning model on students’ economic achievement on the topic consumer behavior at the tenth grade students of MAN 1 Spirok.
