PENGARUH STRATEGI PEMBELAJARAN EKSPOSITORI TERHADAP HASIL BELAJAR EKONOMI PADA MATERI MASALAH POKOK EKONOMI DI KELAS X SMA NEGERI 5 PADANGSIDIMPUAN

ABSTRACT
This study aims to know whether there is a significant influence of using expository learning strategy on students’ economic achievement on the topic economic main problem at the tenth grade students of SMA Negeri 5 Padangsidmpuan. The research was conducted by applying experimental method (one group pretest posttest design) with 34 students as the sample and they were taken by using random sampling technique from 63 students. Observation and test were used in collecting the data. Based on the data analysis, it was found that: (1) the average of using expository learning strategy was 3.05 (good category) and (2) the average of students’ economic achievement on the topic economic main problem before using expository learning strategy was 76.32 (good category) and after using expository learning strategy was 80.15 (very good category). Furthermore, based on inferential statistic by using pair sample ttest , and helping SPSS version 16, the result showed the significant value was less than 0.05 (0.000<0.05). It means, there is a significant influence of using expository learning strategy on students’ economic achievement on the topic economic main problem at the tenth grade students of SMA Negeri 5 Padangsidmpuan.
