Abstract

ABSTRACT

This study aims to know there is a significant influence of using the skill to open and close the lessons on students’ economic achievement on the topic the concept of elasticity at the tenth grade students of SMA Negeri 1 Sibabangun. The research was conducted by applying quantitative descriptive with 35 students as the sample and they were taken by using random sampling technique from 96 students. Questionnaire and test were used in collecting the data. Based on the data analysis, it was found that: (1) the average of the skill to open and close the lessons in teaching the concept of elasticity was 3.16 (good category) and (2) the average of students’ economic achievement on the topic the concept of elasticity was 79.14 (good category). ). Furthermore, based on inferential statistic by using partial ttest and helping SPSS version 16, the result showed the significant value was less than 0.05 ( 0.000<0.05). It means, there is a significant influence of using the skill to open and close the lessons on students’ economic achievement on the topic the concept of elasticity at the tenth grade students of SMA Negeri 1 Sibabangun
