PENGARUH PENGGUNAAN MODEL PEMBELAJARAN ROLE PLAYING TERHADAP HASIL BELAJAR EKONOMI SISWA PADA MATERI POKOK PASAR MONOPOLI DI KELAS X MAN PANYABUNGAN

ABSTRACT
This study aims to describe of using role playing learning model in teaching monopoly market, students’ monopoly market achievement before and after using role playing learning model, and whether there is a significant influence of using role playing learning model on students’ economic achievement on the topic monopoly market. The research was conducted at the tenth grade students of MAN Panyabungan by applying experimental method (one group pretest posttest design) with 39 students as the sample and they were taken by using random sampling technique. Observation and test were used in collecting the data. Based on the data analysis, it was found that: (1) the average of using role playing learning model was 3.00 (good category) and (2) the average of students’ economic achievement on the topic monopoly before using role playing learning model was 69.74 (enough category) and after using role playing learning model was 80.00 (good category). Furthermore, based on inferential statistic by using pair sample ttest, the result showed ttable was less than tcalculated (2.0273<57.328). It means, there is a significant influence of using role playing learning model on students’ economic achievement on the topic monopoly market at the tenth grade students of MAN Panyabungan.
