Abstract

Abstract

This research aims to see the influence of using Portfolio based learning models on students learning outcome of economic development learning material in class XI of SMA Negeri 1 Batang Natal this research was conducted using the experimental method. The population of this research is students of class XI SMA Negeri 1 Batang Natal that consist 82 students. the sample of the research was 27 students who were taken randomly. The instrument of this research is observation and test. The data collected is analyzed in two ways, namely descriptive analysis and inferential statistical analysis. Using normality tesyt with t-test. Based on the results of hypothesis testing conducted, obtained t-count value of 7.43 and t-table of 1.706 at a significant level of 5%. Based on the result above it can be concluded that the number t-count > t-table or (7.43>1.706). means that there is a significant influence between the using of portfolio based learning models on students learning outcomes of economic development learning materials in class XI SMA Negeri 1 Batang Natal.
