Abstract

ABSTRACT

 

 

 

                   This study aims to know whether there is a significant influence of using cooperative learning model of GI type on students’ accounting achievement on general ledger at the eleventh grade students of SMA Negeri 4 Padangsidmpuan. The research was conducted by using descriptive quantitative method with 30 students as the sample and they were taken by using total sampling technique. Observation and test was used in collecting the data. Based on descriptive analysis, it could be found (a) the average of using cooperative learning model of GI type was 3.63 (very good category) and (b) the average of students’ accounting achievement on general ledger before using GI type was 58.00 (fair category) and after using students’ accounting achievement on general ledger was 77.20 (good category).  Furthermore, based on inferential statistic by using paired sample and  helping SPSS Version 16, it could be found the significant value was less than 0.05 (0.000<0.05).It means, there is a significant influence of using cooperative learning model of GI type on students’ accounting achievement on general ledger at the eleventh grade students of SMA Negeri 4 Padangsidmpuan.
