PENGARUH PENERAPAN STRATEGI PEMBELAJARAN EKSPOSITORI (EXPOSITORY LEARNING) TERHADAP HASIL BELAJAR EKONOMI SISWA PADA MATERI PERMINTAAN DAN PENAWARAN DI KELAS X SMA NEGERI 1 PADANG BOLAK JULU

ABSTRACT
This study aims to know whether there is a significant influence of applying expository learning strategy on students’ economic achievement on the topic supply and demand at the tenth grade students of SMA Negeri 1 Padangsiidmpuan. The research was conducted by applying quasi experimental method (one group pretest post test design) with 22 students as the sample and they were taken by using random sampling technique from 159 students. Observation and test were used in collecting the data. Based on descriptive analysis, it could be found (a) the average of applying expository learning strategy was 3.75 ( very good category) and b) the average of students’ economic achievement on the topic supply and demand before applying expository learning strategy was 66.59 (enough category) and 81.82 (very good category).Furthermore, based on inferential statistic by using paired sample ttest, and helping SPSS version 19, the result showed the significant value was less than 0.05 (0.000<0.05). It means, there is a significant influence of applying expository learning strategy on students’ economic achievement on the topic supply and demand at the tenth grade students of SMA Negeri 1 Padangsiidmpuan.
