PENGARUH PENGGUNAAN MODEL PEMBELAJARAN THINK PAIR SHARE (TPS) TERHADAP HASIL BELAJAR AKUNTANSI PADA MATERI LAPORAN KEUANGAN DI KELAS XI SMA NEGERI 1 PADANG BOLAK JULU

This study aims to describe of using TPS learning model, the average of students’ accounting achievement on the topic financial statements before and after using the learning model, and whether there is the significant influence of using TPS learning model on students’ accounting achievement on the topic financial statements. This research was conducted at the eleventh grade students of SMA Negeri 1 Padang Bolak Julu by applying experimental method (pretest post test one group design) with 26 students as the sample and they were taken by using random sampling from 86 students. Observation and test were used in collecting the data. Based on the data analysis, it was found that: (a) the average of using of TPS learning model was 3.00 ( good category) and b) the average of students’ financial statements achievement before using TPS learning model was 67.50 (enough category) and after using TPS learning model was 81.54 (very good category). Furthermore, based on inferential statistic by using paired sample ttest , the result showed the significant value was less than 0.05 (0.000<0.05). It means, there is the significant influence of using TPS learning model on students’ financial statements achievement.
