PENGARUH PENGGUNAAN MODEL PEMBELAJARAN THINK PAIR SHARE (TPS) TERHADAP HASIL BELAJAR EKONOMI PADA MATERI PERHITUNGAN BIAYA PRODUK BERSAMA DI KELAS X SMA NEGERI 1 BARUMUN SELATAN

This study aims to describe of using TPS learning model, the average of students’ economic achievement on the topic joint product costs calculation before and after using the learning model, and whether there is the significant influence of using TPS learning model on students’ economic achievement on the topic joint product costs calculation. This research was conducted at the tenth grade students of SMA Negeri 1 Barumun Selatan by applying experimental method (pretest post test one group design) with 35 students as the sample and they were taken by using random sampling from 140 students. Observation and test were used in collecting the data. Based on the data analysis, it was found that: (a) the average of using of TPS learning model was 3.05 ( good category) and b) the average of students’ joint product costs calculation achievement before using TPS learning model was 60.29 (enough category) and after using TPS learning model was 78.86 (good category). Furthermore, based on inferential statistic by using paired sample ttest , the result showed the significant value was less than 0.05 (0.000<0.05). It means, there is the significant influence of using TPS learning model on students’ joint product costs calculation achievement.
