Abstract

ABSTRACT

This study aims to know 1) describing of using drill learning method, 2) describing of the average of students’ accounting achievement on the topic cash flow statement before and after using drill learning method, and 3) whether there is a significant influence of using drill learning method on students’ accounting achievement on the topic cash flow statement. The research was conducted at the tenth grade students of accounting major of SMK Negeri 1Lumut and applying experimental method with 32 students as the sample and they were taken by using total sampling technique. Test and observation were used in collecting the data. Based on descriptive analyzes, it could be found that 1) the average of using drill learning method was 3.28 (very good category) and 2) the average of students’ accounting achievement on the topic cash flow statement before using drill learning method was 69.38 (enough category) and after using drill learning method was 77.34 (good category). Furthermore, based on inferential statistic by using paired sample ttest, the result showed the significant value was less than 0.05 (0.000<0.05). It means, there is a significant influence of using drill learning method on students’ accounting achievement on the topic cash flow statement.
