Abstract

Abstract

This study aims to know there is a significant influence of using NHT learning model on students’ economic achievement on the topic accounting equation at the eleventh grade students of SMA Negeri 2 Tukka. This research was conducted by applying quasi experimental method (pretest post test one group design) with 25 students as the sample and they were taken by using random sampling technique. Test and observation were used in collecting the data.  Based on the data analysis, it was found that: (a) the average of using NHT learning model was 3.42 (very good category) and b) the average of students’ economic achievement on the topic accounting equation before using NHT learning model was 67.6 (enough category) and after using NHT learning model was 87.2 (very good category). Furthermore, based on inferential statistic by using paired sample ttest and helping SPSS version 16, the result showed the significant value was less than 0.05 (0.000<0.005). It means, there is a significant influence of using NHT learning model on students’ economic achievement on the topic accounting equation at the eleventh grade students of SMA Negeri 2 Tukka.
