Abstract

Abstract

This study aims to know there is a significant influence of teacher’s skill to manage the class on students’ accounting achievement on the topic special journal at the twelfth grade students of SMA Negeri 1 Panyabungan Utara. This research was conducted by applying descriptive quantitative with 44 students as the sample and they were taken by using total sampling technique. Test and questionnaire were used in collecting the data.  Based on the data analysis, it was found that: (a) the average of teacher’s skill to manage the class was 87.15 (very good category) and the average of students’ accounting achievement on the topic special journal was 81.02 (very good category). Furthermore, based on inferential statistic by using ttest and helping SPSS version 16, the result showed the significant value was less than 0.05 (0.028<0.005). It means, there is a significant influence of teacher’s skill to manage the class on students’ accounting achievement on the topic special journal at the twelfth grade students of SMA Negeri 1 Panyabungan Utara.
