PENGARUH MOTIVASI TERHADAP HASIL BELAJAR EKONOMI SISWA PADA MATERI PENDAPATAN NASIONAL DI KELAS X SMA NEGERI 5 PADANGSIDIMPUAN

Abstract

This study aims to know whether there is the significant influence of motivation on students’ economic achievement on the topic National income at the tenth grade students of SMA Negeri 5 Padangsidmpuan. This research was conducted by applying descriptive method. Sample of the research was 72 students and they were taken by using random sampling technique. Questionnaire and test are used in collecting the data. Descriptive and inferential analyzes were used to analyzed the data. Based on the data analysis, it was found a) the average of motivation 83.75 (very good category) and b) the average of students’ economic achievement on the topic National income was 85.28 (very good category). Furthermore, based on inferential statistic by using t_test and helping SPSS version 20, the result showed significant value was less than 0.05 (0.000<0.05) where the value of “t” was 12.390. It means, there is the significant influence of motivation on students’ economic achievement on the topic National income at the tenth grade students of SMA Negeri 5 Padangsidmpuan.
