PENGARUH PERHATIAN ORANG TUA TERHADAP PRESTASI BELAJAR SISWA DI KELAS X AKUNTANSI SMK NEGERI 1 SIPIROK

Abstract

This study aims to know whether there is the significant influence of parents’ attention on students’ achievement at the grade students of accounting major of SMK Negeri 1 Sipirok. The approach of this research was descriptive quantitative method with 49 students and they were taken by using total sampling technique. Documentation and questionnaire were used in collecting the data. Based on the data analysis, it was found that: (a) the average of parents’ attention was 2.73 (good category) and b) the average of students’ achievement was 75.8 (good category). Furthermore, based on inferential statistic a) by using r product, it was found the significant value was less 0.05 (0.028 <0.05), it means, there is the significant influence of parents’ attention on students’ achievement and b) by using t_test , it was found t_table was less than t_calculted (1.68<2.548), it means, there is the significant influence of parents’ attention on students’ achievement at the grade students of accounting major of SMK Negeri 1 Sipirok.
