Abstract
This study aims to see the influence between teacher skills in explaining the results of accounting learning on accounting materials in the class XI IPS SMA Negeri 1 Batang Angkola. The research is done by using deskriptive method. Population in this study is all students of class XI IPS SMA Negeri 1 Batang Angkola consists of 4 classes amounted to 102 students. The sample of this study amounted to 28 people taken at random (random sampling). Instrument this research is a questionare and a test, the data collected were analyzed in two ways, namely descriptif analysis using simpe regression with t test. Based on the results of hypothesis testing conducted, obtained t arithmetic equal to -2,226 at a significant level of 5%. Based on the above results can be concluded that the significant figure < α (0,035 < 0,05). Means that the hypothesis established in this study may be accepted or approved. That is there is a significant influence between the teacher’s skills in explaining learning on the subject matter of accounting in class XI IPS SMA Negeri 1 Batang Angkola.
