Abstract

Abstract

This study aims to know whether there is the influence of teacher’s skill to manage the class on students’ accounting achievement on special journals at the eleventh grade students of SMK Swasta  Kampus Padangsidimpuan. . The research was conducted by applying descriptive quantitative method with 30 students which taken by using total sampling technique. Descriptive and inferential analyzes are used to analyzed the data. Based on the data analysis, it was found that: (a) the average of teacher’s skill to manage the class was 80.50 (very good category) and b) the average of students’ accounting achievement on special journals was 83.01 (very good category).  Furthermore, based on inferential statistic by using SPSS version 17, it could be found significant value was less 0.05 (0.028 <0.05). It means, there is the influence of teacher’s skill to manage the class on students’ accounting achievement on special journals at the eleventh grade students of SMK Swasta  Kampus Padangsidimpuan.
