This study aims to know whether there is a significant influence of leadership style of the head master toward teacher performance at SMA Negeri 1 Padang Bolak. The research was conducted by applying descriptive quantitative with 25 teachers as the sample and they were taken by using total sampling technique. Questionnaire was used in collecting the data. Based on the data analysis, it was found: (a) the average of leadership style of the head master was 73.8 (good category) and the average of teacher performance at SMA Negeri 1 Padang Bolak was 68 (enough category). Furthermore, based on inferential statistics by using correlation r product moment (SPSS version 22), the result showed the significant value was less than 0.05 (0.00<0.05). It means, there is the influence of leadership style of the head master toward teacher performance at SMA Negeri 1 Padang Bolak.
