Abstract
ABSTRACT
The aims of this study is to know whether there is a significant influence of using group investigation learning model on students’ accounting achievement on the topic the basic equation of accounting at the eleventh grade students of IIS major of MAN Sipirok cabang Sipangimbar. This research was conducted by applying experimental method with sample 26 students which taken by using total sampling technique. Observation and test were used in collecting the data. Descriptive and inferential analyzes are used to analyzed the data. Based on the data analysis, it was found that: (a) the score of using learning model was 3.40 (very good category) and (b) the average of students’ basic equation of accounting achievement before using group investigation learning model was 67.50 (enough category) and after using group investigation learning model was 77.32 (good category). Furthermore by using inferential statistic (Pair Sample ttest), it could be found tcalculated was less than 0.05 (-4.231<0.05). It means there is a significant influence of using group investigation learning model on students’ accounting achievement on the topic the basic equation of accounting at the eleventh grade students of IIS major of MAN Sipirok cabang Sipangimbar.
