ABSTRACT
This study aims to know whether there is a significant influence of using inquiry learning model on students’ accounting achievement on the topic introduction to accounting and finance at tenth grade student of SMK Negeri 1 Sibolga. The research was conducted by using experimental method with 35 students as the sample and they were taken by using random sampling technique. Test and observation were used in collecting the data. Based on descriptive analyzes, it could be found that a) the average of using inquiry learning model was 3.45 (very good category) and b) the average of students’ introduction to accounting and finance before using inquiry learning model was 65.71 (enough category) and after using inquiry learning model was 77.71 (good category). Furthermore, based on inferential statistic by using SPSS V2, the result showed the value of significant is less than 0.05 (0.000<0.05) and by using linear line equation, the result showed ttable is less than tobserved (1.692 >7.809). It means, there is a significant influence of using inquiry learning model on students’ accounting achievement on the topic introduction to accounting and finance at tenth grade student of SMK Negeri 1 Sibolga.
