Abstract

ABSTRACT

This study aims to know whether there is a significant influence of family environment and students’ learning motivation on students’ accounting achievement on the topic financial report at the tenth grade students of accounting major of SMK Negeri 1 Kotanopan.  The research was conducted by using descriptive quantitative method with 52 students as the sample and they were taken by using total sampling technique. Test and questionnaire were used in collecting the data. Based on descriptive analysis, it could be found (a) the average of family environment was 70.38 (good category), (b) the average of students’ learning motivation was 76.92 (good category), and (c) the average of students’ financial report achievement was 79.80 (good category). Furthermore, based on inferential statistic, it could be found that (a) there is a significant influence of family environment and students’ financial report achievement, (b) ) there is a significant influence of students’ learning motivation and students’ financial report achievement, and (c) there is  a significant influence of family environment and students’ learning motivation on students’ financial report achievement at the tenth grade students of accounting major of SMK Negeri 1 Kotanopan
