Pengaruh Model Pembelajaran Group Investigation (GI) Terhadap Hasil Belajar Ekonomi Materi Pokok Masalah Ekonomi di Kelas X SMA Negeri 1 Sorkam Barat

Abstract
This study aims to know whether there is a significant influence of using group investigation learning model on students’ economic achievement on the topic economic problem at the tenth grade students of SMA Negeri 1 Sorkam Barat. The research was conducted for 3 months (August – October 2017) by using experimental method (one group pretest post test) with 32 students as the sample. They were taken by using random sampling technique. Test and observation were used in collecting the data. Based on descriptive analyzes, it could be found that a) the average of using group investigation learning model on the topic economic problem was 3.55 (very good category) and b) the average of students’ economic achievement on the topic economic problem before using group investigation learning model was 66.40 (enough category) and after using group investigation learning model was 74.50 (good category). Furthermore, based on inferential statistic by using ttest, one tail, the result showed that ttable was less than tobserved (1.70<2.14), it means, there is a significant influence of using using group investigation learning model on students’ economic achievement on the topic economic problem at the tenth grade students of SMA Negeri 1 Sorkam Barat.
