Pengaruh Penguasaan Materi Kurs Valas dan Bank Terhadap Hasil Belajar IPS Pada Materi Perdagangan Internasional di Kelas IX SMP Negeri 1 Barumun Tengah

Abstract
This study aims to know whether there is a significant influence of exchange rate and bank mastery on students’ IPS achievement with the topic International Trade at the ninth-grade students of SMP Negeri 1Barumun Tengah. The research was conducted by using descriptive method with the sample was 62 students and they were taken by using total sampling technique. Test was used in collecting the data. Based on descriptive analyzes, it could be found that a) the average of exchange rate mastery was 70.16 (good category), b) the average of bank mastery was 73.6 (good category), and c) the average of International Trade was 76.13 (good category). Furthermore based on inferential statistics by using Ftest (SPSS V16), the result showed that a) tobserved was less than 0.05 (0.000<0.05), it means there is a significant influence of exchange rate and International rate, b) tobserved was less than 0.05 (0.002), it means there is a significant influence of bank mastery and International rate, and c) Fobserved was less than 0.05 (0.000<0.05), is a significant influence of exchange rate and bank mastery on students’ IPS achievement with the topic International Trade at the ninth grade students of SMP Negeri 1Barumun Tengah.
