Pengaruh Penggunaan Model Pembelajaran Problem Based Instruction (PBI) Terhadap Hasil Belajar Ekonomi Materi Permintaan di Kelas X SMA Negeri 2 Tukka

ABSTRACT
This study aims to know whether there is a significant influence of using problem based instruction (PBI) learning model on students’ economic achievement with the topic demand at the tenth-grade students of SMA Negeri 2 Tukka. The research was conducted by using experimental method (one group pretest posttest). The total sample of the research was 30 students and they were taken by using random sampling technique from 140 students. Observation and test were used in collecting the data. Based on descriptive analyzes, it could be found that a) the average of using PBI learning model was 3.45 (very good category), b) the average of students’ demand achievement before using PBI learning model was 56.90 (less category) and after using PBI learning model was 93.50 (very category). Furthermore, based on inferential statistic by using ttest one tail, the result showed that ttable was less than tobserved (1.70<11.05), it means there is a significant influence of using problem based instruction (PBI) learning model on students’ economic achievement with the topic demand at the tenth-grade students of SMA Negeri 2 Tukka.
