Abstract

Abstract

This study aims to know whether there is the significant influence of using chart visual media on students’ accounting achievement on the topic at the eleventh grade students of SMK Swasta Kampus Padangsidimpuan. This research was conducted by applying experimental method (one group pretest and post test) with 36 students as the sample and they were taken by using total sampling technique. Observation and test were used in collecting the data. Descriptive and inferential analyzes are used to analyzed the data. Based on the data analysis, it was found that: (a) the average of using chart  visual media on students’ accounting achievement on the topic work sheet was 2.8 (good category) and b) the average of students’ accounting achievement on the topic work sheet before using chart visual media was 65.13 (enough category) and after of using charvisual media t was 75.27 (good category). Furthermore, based on inferential statistic by using ttest, pair sample the result showed that than tobserved  was less than 0.05 (0.000<0.05), it means, there is a significant influence of using chart visual media on students’ accounting achievement on the topic work sheet at the eleventh grade students of SMK Swasta Kampus Padangsidimpuan.
