Abstract

          This study aims to describe economic building mastery and to know whether a significant influence of economic building mastery on students’ economic achievement on the topic economic development at the eleventh-grade students of SMA Negeri 1 Batangtoru.The research was conducted by using descriptive method with sample 75 students and the sample was taken by applying total sampling technique. Test was used in collecting the data. Based on descriptive analyzes, it could be found that a) the average of economic building mastery was 60 (enough category) and b) the average of students’ economic development achievement was 63 (enough category).Furthermore, based on inferential statistic by using t_test,the result showed that t_tableas less than t_observed (1.66<12.7), it means there is a significant influence of economic building mastery on students’ economic achievement on the topic economic development at the eleventh grade students of SMA Negeri 1 Batangtoru.
