Abstract

ABSTRACT

 

This study aims to know whether there is a significant influence of using Students Team Achievement Division (STAD) learning model on students’ accounting achievement on petty cash topic at the eleventh grade students of SMKS Panca Dharma Padangsidimpuan. The research was conducted by using experimental method (one group pretest post test). The total sample was 36 students and it was taken by using total sampling technique. Observation and test were used in collecting the data. Based on descriptive analyzes, it could be found that a) the average of using STAD learning model was 3.45 (very good category) and b) the average of students’ accounting achievement on petty cash before using STAD learning model was 62.36 (enough category) and after using STAD learning model 84.02 (very good category). Furthermore, based on inferential statistic by using pair sample ttest (SPSS V22), the result showed that the value of significant was less than 0.05 (0.000<0.05), it means there is a significant influence of using  Students Team Achievement Division (STAD) learning model on students’ accounting achievement on petty cash topic at the eleventh grade students of SMKS Panca Dharma Padangsidimpuan.
