PENGARUH PENERAPAN STRATEGI PEMBELAJARAN CONTEXTUAL TEACHING AND LEARNING (CTL) TERHADAP HASIL BELAJAR EKONOMI SISWA PADA MATERI PAJAK DI KELAS XI IPS SMANEGERI 3 PADANGSIDIMPUAN
Abstract
ABSTRACT
This study aims to know whether there is a significant influence of applying CTL strategy on students’ economic achievement on the topic of tax at the eleventh grade students of SMA Negeri 3 Padangsidimpuan. This study was conducted by applying experimental method (pretest post test one group design) with 33 students as the sample and they were taken by using random sampling from 169 students. Observation and test were used in collecting the data. Based on the data analysis, it was found that: (a) the average of applying CTL strategy was 3.05 (good category) and (b) the average of students’ economic achievement on the topic of tax before applying CTL was 67.57 (enough category) and after applying CTL strategy was 80.15 (very good category). Furthermore, based on inferential statistic by using pair sample ttest (SPSS 22), the result showed significant value was less than 0.05 (0.000<0.05). It means, there is a significant influence of applying CTL strategy on students’ economic achievement on the topic of tax at the eleventh grade students of SMA Negeri 3 Padangsidimpuan.
