The aim of this research is to know whether there is the influence of using cooperative learning model of STAD (Students Teams Achievement Division) type on students’ economic achievement on topic of money at the tenth grade students of SMA Negeri 1 Sosa. The research was conducted by applying experimental method with 40 students as the sample for STAD type (experimental class) and 40 students as the sample for conventional learning model (control class). Based descriptive analysis, it was found (a) the average of students’ economic achievement on topic of money by using STAD type was 67.9 (enough category) and  (b) the average of students’ economic achievement on topic of money by using conventional learning model was 63.8 (enough category). Furthermore, based on using ttest two tails, the result showed ttable was less than tcalculted (1.667<2.25). It means, whether there is the influence of using STAD learning model on students’ economic achievement on topic of money at the tenth grade students of SMA Negeri 1 Sosa.
