Abstract
ABSTRACT
This study aims to know there is a significant influence of using VAK learning model on students’ economic achievement on the topic monopoly market at the tenth grade students of SMA Negeri 3 Padangsidimpuan. The research was conducted by applying experimental method (one group pretest post test design) with 20 students as the sample and they were taken by using random sampling technique from 40 students. Observation and test were used in collecting the data. Based on descriptive analysis, it could be found (a) the average of using VAK learning model was 90 (very good category) and (b) the average of students’ economic achievement on the topic monopoly market before using VAK learning model was 75.25 (good category) and after using VAK learning model was 85.75 (very good category). Furthermore, based on inferential statistic by using ttest one tail, the result showed ttable was less than tcalcultaed (1.734<1.74). It means there is a significant influence of using VAK learning model on students’ economic achievement on the topic monopoly market at the tenth grade students of SMA Negeri 3 Padangsidimpuan.
