Abstract

ABSTRACT

                   This study aims to know whether there is a significant influence of teachers’ skill in giving question on students’ accounting achievement on the topic of financial statements at the eleventh grade students of SMK Negeri 1 Batang Angkola.  The research was conducted by applying descriptive quantitative with 32 students as the sample and they were taken by using total sampling. Questionnaire and test were used in collecting the data for the both variable. Based on descriptive analysis, it could be found (a) the average of teachers’ skill in giving question was 73.53 (good category) and (b) the average of students’ financial statement achievement was 74.78 (good category). Furthermore, based on inferential statistic by using r product moment (SPSS V22), the result showed the significant value was less than 0.05 (0.037<0.05). It means there is a significant influence of teachers’ skill in giving question on students’ accounting achievement on the topic of financial statements at the eleventh grade students of SMK Negeri 1 Batang Angkola.
