PENGARUH PENGGUNAAN MODEL PEMBELAJARAN LANGSUNG DAN KETERAMPILAN GURU MEMBERIKAN PENGUATAN TERHADAP HASIL BELAJAR EKONOMI SISWA MATERI POKOK LAPORAN KEUANGAN PERUSAHAAN JASA DI KELAS XI IPS SMA NEGERI 5 PADANGSIDIMPUAN
Abstract
ABSTRACT
This study aims to know whether there is a significant influence of using direct learning model and teacher’s skill in giving strengthening on students’ economic achievement on the topic of services financial statements at the eleventh grade students of IPS major of SMA Negeri 5 Padangsidimpuan. The research was conducted by using descriptive method with the sample was 35 students and they were taken by using cluster sampling technique from 64 students. Test and questionnaire were used in collecting the data. Based on descriptive analyzes, it could be found that a) the average of using direct learning model was 3.06 (good category) ,(b) the average of teacher’s skill in giving strengthening was 3.26 (good category), and (c) the average of students’ services financial statements achievement was 78.86 (good category). Furthermore based on inferential statistics by using Ftest (SPSS V16), the result showed (a) there is a significant influence of using direct learning model and on students’ economic achievement on the topic of services financial statements, (b) there is a significant influence of teacher’s skill in giving strengthening on students’ economic achievement on the topic of services financial statements and (c) there is a significant influence of using direct learning model and teacher’s skill in giving strengthening simultaneously on students’ economic achievement on the topic of services financial statements.
