THE EFFECT OF USING CUBING STRATEGY ON STUDENTS' WRITING ABILITY AT THE EIGHTH GRADE STUDENT OF SMP NEGERI 2 SATU ATAP KOLANG

The objective of this research is to find out: 1) the application of cubing strategy on teaching writing ability, 2) the student’s writing ability before and after using cubing strategy, 3) whether there is significant effect of cubing strategy on student’s writing ability at the eight grade students. The research use pre-experimental with one group pretest and posttest as design. Population and sample in this research are the entire students’ at the eighth grade students of SMP N 2 Satu Atap Kolang 40 students with using total sampling as a data collection technique. In collecting data, researcher used observation sheets and tests as instruments. The results of this research is : 1) the score average aplication of the cubing strategy is 3.07 with categorized "Good". 2) the score average students' writing ability before cubing strategy is 39.39 with categorized "Very Bad". Meanwhile, after using the cubing strategy is 58.68 with categorized "Bad". The research use uji wilcoxon as analysis data, because the data pretest distribution abnormal. The result of uji wilcoxon is <0.01 it means Ha accepted, where is score accepted if score significance <0.05 . It means that there is a significant effect of using cubing strategy on students' writing ability of descriptive text at the eighth grade students of SMP N 2 Satu Atap Kolang 2023/2024 academic year.

The Effect of Using Scramble Learning Model on Students' Reading Comprehension of Narrative Text at Tenth Grade in SMK Negeri 1 Tantom Angkola in 2023/2024 Academic Year

The purpose of this research to know: the extent of the Scramble Learning Model on Students’ Reading Comprehension of Narrative text, Students’ score of Reading Comprehension of Narrative Text before and after Using Scramble Learning Model, whether there is any significant effect of the of Scramble Learning Model on Students’ on Reading Comprehension of Narrative Text. This research used experimental model with the pre- experimental design by Using one-group pretest and posttest design. The sample of this research are 30 students of class X Tata Busana by Using purposive sampling. In collecting the data, the researcher used observation sheet and test by multiple choice consiste of twenty items. The result of the research are: the Scramble Learning Model on Students’ Reading Comprehension of Narrative Text is 3.1 (very good categorized), the average score of Students’ of Reading Comprehension of Narrative Text before and after of Using Scramble Learning Model is 57.5(categorized less) and is 75(good categorized), the results of analysis show that the t_testgreater than N-Gain 0.3>0.41176<07(medium category). So, the hypothesis is accepted. It means that there is any significant effect of Scramble Learning Model on Students Reading Comprehension of Narrative Text at the tenth grade of SMK Negeri 1 Tantom Angkola.

_{The purposes of this research to know the extent of the application of the vlog as technology integrated media in teaching students’ speaking skill at the eleventh grade students of Pondok Pesantren Darussalam Parmeraan, to know the extent of the students’ speaking skill before and after using vlog as technology integrated media at eleventh grade students of Pondok Pesantren Darussalam Parmeraan, to find out whether there is significant effect using vlog as technology integrated media in teaching speaking skill at the eleventh grade students of Pondok Pesantren Darussalam Parmeraan. The population of this research the eleventh grade students consist of 217 students. The researcher uses purposive sampling technique to get the sample that XI-A consist of 54 students. The data was obtained by distributing the observation sheet and test. It is found that The result of the used of Vlog as technology integrated in teaching speaking skill at the eleventh grade of Pondok Pesantren Darussalam Parmeraan in 2023/2024 academic year is 84.21, it is categorized “Very Good”. The students’ speaking skill ability before and after using Vlog as technology integrated at the the eleventh grade of Pondok Pesantren Darussalam Parmeraan is 48.24 it is categorized “Enough”. While, the students speaking skill after using Vlog as technology integrated is 79.80 and it is “Good” category. There is a significant effect of students’ speaking skill after using Vlog as technology integrated at the eleventh grade of Pondok Pesantren Darussalam Parmeraan in 2023/2024 academic year that N-Gain obtained 0.3 < 0.61 <0.7 there is a significant effect of using Vlog as technology integrated on Students speaking skill on Medium category and then, alternative hypothesis (Ha) is accepted.}

The aimed of this study to know the extent of the application of applying summarizing technique in teaching writing analytical exposition, to know the extent of the students’ writing analytical exposition text before and after applying summarizing technique, then, to know wether there is any significant effect of applying summarizing technique on students writing analytical ex position text ability at the eleventh grade of SMANegeri 3 Padangsidimpuan.The research used exprimental method of one grup group pre-test post-test design.The sample of the research was 32 students and they were taken by using purposive sampling technique from 354 students.The data collection technique used the observation and test. The results of this research. the application of the summarizing technique is 95%. It is categorized "Excellent” criterion, the mean score of the students' writing analytical exposition text ability before and after applying summarizing technique were 54,38. (adequet to fair category) and 84,13. (excellent to good category),Then, there is a significant effect of applying Summarizing technique on students' writing analytical exposition text ability at the eleventh grade of SMA Negeri 3 Padangsidimpuan with the category ‘medium’ in 2023/2024 academic year. Because the table paired sample t-test pretest and posttest is lower than 0.05 (001<0.05). It means that hypothesis is accepted.

Abstract: The purpose of this study was to determine: the extent to which the application of loud reading strategy in teaching recount text reading comprehension the extent to which students ' reading comprehension of recount text before and after using loud reading strategy, to determine whether there is a significant effect of the use of loud reading strategy in teaching recount text reading comprehension in students . This study uses experimental model with pre-experimental design using one-group pretest and posttest design. The sample in this study consisted of 31 eleventh graders. In data collection, the researcher used observation sheet and multiple choice test consisting of twenty items. The results were: Strategy reading comprehension of students 'text recount was 4.2 (very good category), the average reading comprehension value of students' text recount was 29.52(failed category), and amounted to 60.81(good category), the results of the analysis showed t-count greater than 0.3>0.313708<0.7 (medium category. Thus, it can be stated that the hypothesis is accepted. That is, there is a significant influence recount text reading strategy eleven students class Pondok Al-Abraar.

The purpose of this research are to find out: 1) The application of charades game in teaching vocabulary. 2) The students’ vocabulary mastery before and after using charades game 3) Whether there is any significant effect of charades game on students’ vocabulary mastery at the eighth grade students of SMP Negeri 4 Angkola Sangkunur.This research uses experimental method with the pre-experimental design by using one-group pretest and posttest design. The population of this research is all the eighth grade of SMP Negeri 4 Angkola Sangkunur, which consists of 38 students. Sample were 20 students which taken by Purposive sampling. To collect the data, the researcher uses an observation sheet and a test as instruments. The mean score of Charades Game was 3.38 categorized "Very Good". the students’ vocabulary mastery before and after using charades game at the eighth grade students of SMP Negeri 4 Angkola Sangkunur is 37.75 categorized "enough", and 69.5 categorized “good”. Because the table paired sample t- test pretest and posttest is lower than 0.05 (001<0.05). it means that hypothesis (Ha) is accepted, it means that there is any significant effect of Charades Game on vocabulary mastery of the eighth grade students' SMP Negeri 4 Angkola Sangkunur 2023/2024 Academic Year.

THE EFFECT OF USING PEER ASSESSMENT TECHNIQUE ON STUDENTS’ SPEAKING SKILL AT THE ELEVENTH GRADE STUDENTS OF MAN PALUTA IN 20232024 ACADEMIC YEAR

The aims of the research were to know the extent of using peer assessment technique in teaching speaking skill giving opinion, the extent of the students’ speaking skill before and after using peer assessment technique, and to know whether there is a significant effect of using peer assessment technique on students’ speaking skill at the eleventh grade of MAN PALUTA. The research was conducted by using experimental method (pretest posttest one group design) with 38 students as the sample and population, they have taking by using total sampling technique. Test and observation were using in collecting the data. Based on the data analysis, it can be found the average of using peer assessment technique in teaching speaking skill is 95% categorized "very good", and the mean score of students speaking skill before using peer assessment technique was 36.84 categorized "fail" and after 50.65 categorized "bad". Furthermore, based on inferential statistic by using Wilcoxon Test (non parametic statistic because the data is not normal distribution), result shoes the significant was less than 0.05 (0.00<0.05). It means, there is a significant effect of the using peer assessment technique on students' speaking skill in giving opinion at the eleventh grade students of MAN PALUTA.

THE THE EFFECT OF USING ANAGRAM TECHNIQUE ON STUDENT' VOCABULARY MASTERY

The aims of this research are to know: 1) the extent of using anagram technique in teaching vocabulary mastery to the fourth grade students of SD Swasta HKBP 2 Padangsidimpuan; 2) the extent of the students' vocabulary mastery before and after being taught by using anagram technique to the fourth grade students of SD Swasta HKBP 2 Padangsidimpuan; and 3) whether there is any significant effect of anagram technique on students' vocabulary mastery at the fourth grade student of SD Swasta HKBP 2 Padangsidimpuan. Method of this research is quantitative research used experimental method with design one group pretest posttest design. The population of this research is all of the fourth grade of SD Swasta HKBP 2 Padangsidimpuan, which consists of 35 students. Sample were 35 students which taken by using total sampling. To collect the data, the writer used an observation sheet and a test as instruments. The mean score of the application of anagram technique was 3, it was categorized “Good." The result of the data analysis shows that ttest = 4.67 while t ttable = 2.03. It means that ttest is higher than ttable. So, the hyphotheis is accepted. It means that there is significant effect of anagram technique on students’ vocabulary mastery at the fourth grade of SD Swasta HKBP 2 Padangsidimpuan.

The Strategy in Teaching Reading Comprehension at Grade VII SMP Negeri 5 Padangsidimpuan

The research problem encompasses both the instructional approach and the instructional materials. Because the teaching strategies are not appropriate for the students' circumstances, the teaching-learning process does not provide positive results. The study's goals were to determine the most common teaching method for reading comprehension at grade VII SMP N 5 Padangsidimpuan and to find out what strategies teachers employ in this regard. Descriptive analysis was the method utilized in this qualitative study of a phenomenon. The research participant was a Grade VII teacher at SMP 5 Padangsidimpuan. The information was gathered through interviews and observation. The five steps of data analysis were data management, reading/memorization, description, classification, and interpretation. Member checking was done in this study to assess the reliability of the data. According to the study's findings, teachers' methods for teaching reading comprehension included pre-reading, such as vocabulary analysis and clustering or mapping strategies, which helped students learn new words and understand their meanings; during reading or during reading activities, such as taking notes or outlining strategies, which helped students understand the key points of the text; and post-reading, or after reading, which included retelling strategies that helped students retain the information.

Islam adalah salah satu dari agama internasional karena penganut agama Islam bisa ditemukan di seluruh negara yang ada di dunia. Agama Islam memiliki dua sumber hukum yaitu Al – Quran dan Al – hadits. Al- Quran yang menggunakan bahasa arab. Karena Al- Quran dan Al- hadits menggunakan bahasa Arab maka setiap pemeluk agama islam yang ingin mengetahui atau mempelajari isi pesan – pesan yang ada dalam kedua sumber hukum tersebut seharusnya memahami bahsa Arab. Untuk itulah seharusnya para pendakwah dan para ulama yang ingin menyebarkan dan mengajarkan agama Islam mampu menguasai bahasa yang digunakan di daerah masing – masing tempat mereka berdakwah. Dengan demikian seorang dai yang ingin berdakwah ke luar negeri harus bisa menguasai bahasa internasional seoperti bahsa ingris sehingga dia mampu mengalih bahasakan materi ke islaman ke dalam bahsa ingris hingga komunikasi antara pendakwah dan ummat islam yang hanya mampu berbahsa ingris bisa mengetahui pesan dakwah nya.
