The effect of Flashcard Media in Teaching Present Continuous tense (A Study at the Tenth Grade of SMK Negeri 1Aek Nabara Barumun in 2023/2024 Academic Year)

Abstract

Abstract: The purposes of this research are to find out: 1 The application of flashcard media in teaching present continuous tense. 2 The Students’ present continuous tense before and after given flashcard media. 3 Whether there is any significant effect of flashcard media in teaching present continuous tense ( a study at the tenth grade of SMK Negeri 1 Aek Nabara Barumun in 2023/2024 Academic Year). This research use experimental method with one group pretest and posttest design. The population are 84 with 25 sample take by purposive sampling. The instrument of the research are observation sheet and test from multiple choices. The average score before treatment are 47.36 and after treatment are 81.44. The result data shows that ttest higher than ttable (ttest > ttable = 47.36 > 2.06). It means there was significant effect of using flashcard media in teaching present continuous tense (A Study at the Tenth Grade of SMK Negeri 1 Aek Nabara Barumun in 2023/2024 Academic Year)
