Abstract

The objective of this research is to understand the implementation of land redistribution after enforcement of UUPA 1960. The method used in this research is historis method. The data collecting techniques are using literature study, and documentation while the data analysis is qualitative research. The result of this research by the author is after enforcement of UUPA 1960, the government implemented land redistribution policy. Land redistribution aimed at distributing state owned to landless farmers. The implementation of land redistribution implemented by a special committee, called landreform committee that was formed from the central to the village. In Orde Lama, the government  implemented land redistribution in  two stages. The result is 801.317 hectares of land distributed to 847.143 farm families.
