Abstract

This study aimed to describe the extent of the effect of STAD Cooperative Learning Model on student learning outcomes subject matter of Indonesian Independence. The study population was all students of class VII consists of four (4) classes as many as 116 people. While the sample using random sampling techniques means to assign the sample by means of dice by 30% of the total population, obtained a sample of 35 students. To see the effect of learning STAD Cooperative Learning Model on student learning outcomes, the authors use the formula t-test (t-test). Based on the results of the descriptive analysis of obtained information that results for students before using cooperative learning model STAD obtained average value of 55.19 in the category "Enough" and student learning outcomes after using cooperative learning model STAD average values ​​obtained 75.31 entry category of "Good". Based on t-test calculations obtained t count> t-table is 8.12> 1.67. This means that the hypothesis is accepted that there is influence of cooperative learning model STAD to the learning outcomes of students in the subject matter of the pre lives of characters in the class VII SMP Negeri 4 One Roof Sibabangun. Based on the analysis, it can be concluded there is significant influence STAD type of cooperative learning model to the learning outcomes of students in the subject matter of the pre script development life class VII SMP Negeri 4 One Roof Sibabangun.
