Abstract

This study aims to knowwhether there is the significant influence of using cooperative script learning model on students’ achievement on the topic of chronology of the proclamation of Indonesian independence at the eighth grade students of MTsS Jabalul Madiyah.The method of this research is experimental with 54 students as the sample.Descriptive and inferential analyzes are used to analyzed the data. Based on the data analysis, it was found that: (a) the average of usingcooperative script learning model is 3.34 (very good category), (b) tount is greater than ttable (0.418>1.67). It can be concluded that there is not the significant influenceof using cooperative script learning model on students’ achievement on the topic of chronology of the proclamation of Indonesian independence at the eighth grade students of MTsS Jabalul Madiyah.
