HUBUNGAN MANAJEMEN BERBASIS SEKOLAH DENGAN PROFESIONALISME GURU IPS DI SMP NEGERI 5 KECAMATAN HALONGONAN TIMUR
This research is a quantitative study that aims to determine the extent of the relationship between school-based management and teacher professionalism at SMP Negeri 5, East Halongonan District. This research was carried out using a descriptive method with a correlation form, namely to provide an overview and at the same time see the relationship between the two variables mentioned above. As the population in this study were all teachers at SMP Negeri 5 East Halongonan District as many as 30 people, and the 30 people were also the research sample. The sampling technique used is the total sample, which means that the entire population is used as a sample. Data collection was carried out by means of a questionnaire for both variable X (School-Based Management) and for variable Y (Teacher Professionalism). Furthermore, the data collected was analyzed in two ways. First, descriptive analysis, namely to provide a general description of the two variables. Second, statistical analysis using the correlation formula "r" Product Moment by Pearson. From the results of the calculations performed above, it can be concluded that the rxy calculated value is 0.523. By paying attention to the magnitude of the rxy value of 0.523 and then consulted with the value contained in the "r" Procuct Moment correlation table at df of 28 (N-nr = 30 - 2 = 28), Df of 28 contained in the table is 0.553 at the significance level 5%. This means that r (r-count) is 0.523 less than r-table, namely 0.553 or rxy = 0.523 <0.553 = rt. Thus, the results of the comparison of these values, it can be concluded that the hypothesis enforced in this study cannot be accepted or rejected. In other words, there is no significant relationship between school-based management and teacher professionalism at SMP Negeri 5 Halongnan Timur District.
